Death of a Partisan is an upcoming first-person adventure game set in Russia during World War 2.
The game is inspired by, and an homage to, classic Soviet cinema set during the Great Patriotic War, including Ivan's Childhood, The Ascent, Come and See, and The Cranes Are Flying.
A Russian partisan is captured and sentenced to be shot the next day. With death being a certainty, how do you choose to spend your remaining life?
This is a WW2 game for fans of games like Firewatch and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter more than Call of Duty, with an emphasis on story and atmosphere.
"Everyone gets found eventually.
The only question you have to ask yourself is:
How will I act when they find me?
Everyone must discover this for themselves."
Currently planned for a 2019 release on Windows, Mac and Linux.
